Optical Lensed Fibers, also known as lensed optical fiber, generally refers to the fiber end which is directly processed into a lens like shape in order to achieve the function of optical path transformation or optical mode conversion. Compared with the traditional optical coupling external lens, the optical Lensed Fibers has the advantages of high coupling efficiency, small size, compact structure and easy to package. Different application fields have different requirements for the shape of optical Lensed Fibers. The common shapes of optical Lensed Fibers are tapered, wedge-shaped, beveled, spherical, etc.
On June 24, 2019, south channel converter station of Yu-E flexible DC back-to-back networking project with the highest voltage level and the largest power transmission capacity in the world was officially put into operation. Later, the north channel converter station also successfully passed the 168 hour trial operation, so far, the whole project ended successfully. At the same time, Comcore optical current transformers (OCTs), which are applied to the start-up resistance side of south channel converter station and north channel converter station, have also been in live operation for four or five months, and have obtained the operative certificate issued by State Grid Hubei Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd.
±800kV Lingzhou converter station, which was officially put into operation in August 2016, is the first and only UHV converter station in Ningxia, with a rated DC transmission power of 8000 MW. The daily power transmission capacity of this converter station is more than 100 million kwh, and the annual power transmission capacity is 50 billion kwh, which can meet nearly one sixth of the electricity demand of Zhejiang Province. By June 2019, this station has delivered 84 billion kwh of electricity to Zhejiang. This converter station continuously sends Ningxia's surplus power sources to Zhejiang, greatly alleviating the power shortage in Zhejiang, while providing a strong driving force for Ningxia's economic development.
In March 2018, Comcore Optical Sensing Technologies Co., Ltd. won the bid for the optical DC transformer project of Yu-E DC back-to-back networking directly invited by State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC). This indicates that Comcore's technical strength in the field of sensing optical fiber intelligent application has been further recognized by the industry.
On April 27, 2016, Ministry of Science and Technology High-tech Research and Development Center organized experts in Ningbo Zhejiang Province to check and accept the project of “ Fiber Optic DC Current Sensor” undertaken by Comcore. On July 18,2017, Comcore received the Acceptance Concluding Statement of Subject issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. So far, the project has been formally accepted.
Comcore has successfully developed Universal Polarization-Maintaining (PM) Fiber Fusion Splicer with independent intellectual property rights.
On September 10, 2016, Chinese society of electrical engineering organized and held the "FCA-01 series all fiber optic current sensor" product technology appraisal meeting in Beijing guidu hotel, which was developed by comcore optical sensor technology co., LTD.
The 1000KV GIS out-seizing-up fiber optic current transformer (FOCT) developed by Comcore Optical Sensing Technologies Co., Ltd. has been successfully installed on SGCC Ultra-High Voltage Verification Station which is the highest voltage station in China. This FOCT is out-seizing –up type with a flexible sensing cable.
